Introducing a great online facility for the people of Punjab on New Year.
LAHORE: Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police has introduced a major facility for the people of the province at the beginning of the new year.
According to ARY News, IG Punjab Inam Ghani has inaugurated an online payment system for electronic challans, under which citizens can now pay for electronic challans through ePay mobile application.
According to the report, a function was held in Safe City regarding the facility of payment of electronic challan in which Managing Director Rao Sardar Ali, Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Kamran briefed the other distinguished guests including IG Punjab.
Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Azfar Manzoor and OCTO Syed Hamad Abid were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Punjab said that online payment of e-challan would save valuable time for the citizens. Call One-Five, e-service centers, e-challan system are some of the best initiatives for the people.
With the new addition of e-Challan, e-Pay Punjab is now allowing the citizens to pay 18 taxes/levies digitally and remotely from any location across Punjab.
