One US dollar is equivalent to 260,000 Iranian rials.

The Iranian currency has reached its lowest level against the dollar, with Iranians having to pay around 260,000 riyals for one US dollar.

According to the International News Agency, the Iranian currency has lost 50% of its value this year. Corona and US sanctions are hurting the Iranian economy.

In addition, falling crude oil prices also pose economic challenges to Iran.

According to the report, Iran's central bank is supplying dollars to the market to support the currency, which is also causing a decrease in foreign exchange reserves.
