Why did the woman wear the same dress for 100 days?
WASHINGTON: Everyday new challenges are presented on social media, usually for fun, but recently a purposeful challenge was introduced under which a woman wore the same dress for 100 days.
According to a British media report, a woman named Sarah Rubin took part in the 100 Day Dress Challenge in September last year, and for three months she wore a black Merino Wool dress daily to promote simplicity in the world of fashion.
In her post on the social networking site Instagram, Sarah said that wearing the same clothes for 100 days has taught us a lesson that we don't need clothes so much.
"I grew up in a 19th-century farmhouse with small wardrobes. In the old days, people living in this farmhouse would never have thought that clothes would become so expensive," he wrote.
On the other hand, the American clothing brand that introduced this challenge has said that the basis of this challenge is 3 principles: adopt simplicity, spend wisely, and do good deeds.
This challenge was not only accepted by Sarah, the brand wrote on its website that we sent our garments to 50 women who volunteered to wear our clothes for 100 days.
The brand also said that only 13 out of 50 women met the challenge and that Sarah Rubin was among them.
