Woman recovering from coronavirus faces a new problem!

A woman in England says it has been more than seven months since she contracted code 19, but her sense of smell and taste has not yet been restored.

A 44-year-old woman named Sarah fell victim to Code 19 in May this year. According to her, even after 7 months, the smell of coffee still smells like car smoke, while the toothpaste smells like petrol.

According to Sarah, she initially experienced fatigue and sore throat in May, after which she had her test done, but before the test report came, she lost her sense of smell and taste.

Sarah says she lost both senses for six weeks after recovering from code 19, after which she developed a new problem.

According to her, salty foods now feel like soapy flavors, coffee smells like car smoke, and chocolate cakes are so astringent that they spit it out involuntarily.

Sarah says it is very difficult for her to cook and eat, and the smell of food bothers her terribly. She sniffs it before every meal, then eats it if she deems fit.

She said her diet now consists of a few specific foods, including fish and cheese, but she fears she will soon get tired of them.

Remember that according to doctors, loss of sense of smell and taste due to code 19 is a common symptom because the virus targets the receptors in the nose.

Sarah has also created a group of people affected by Code 19 on Facebook in which people keep sharing their experiences. Many others in this group have experienced similar conditions.
