In a fit of rage, the injured deer killed its hunter۔
We've all heard the saying, "Let the hunter hunt himself," but this unique incident in Arkansas happened when a deer, wounded by a hunter's bullet, attacked its prey again and killed it.
The incident happened in the Yale Valley area of Arkansas when 66-year-old Thomas Alexander shot a deer. After which he fell and as Thomas approached the deer to see him, the deer suddenly got up and attacked him and inflicted several wounds on his horns which proved fatal.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission license hunters to kill deer, and spokesman Keith Stephens said it was not known how long Thomas had been there, but he went to him to confirm the deer's death. Was alive
Thomas immediately called his family after the injury and his family contacted a park official, but Thomas died at the hospital.
The exact cause of his death could not be ascertained۔ Did he die from excessive bleeding or die from constant horn wounds?
According to experts, deer attacks and killings of humans are rare. Once in the park in 2016, a deer injured a man with its horns but he was rescued.
On the other hand, the injured deer was searched but no trace of it has been found so far.
